YIN - Poses are held for longer in Yin than other styles of yoga, allowing you to fully let go and stretch out your body. Yin yoga targets the deep connective tissues between the muscles and fascia throughout the body, strengthens your joints and improves overall circulation.

HEATED YOGA - Our heated yoga classes use classic yoga postures integrated into a flow of standing and floor poses that strengthen bones, tone muscles and benefit balance.

SLOW FLOW - slow flow is for you if you feel like moving in a gentle & nurturing way. Think bolsters for props, blankets for warmth and juicy, nourishing yoga.

FLOW - Flow class integrates yoga postures and flowing breath to bring about an energising and balancing effect on your body and mind. Create a gentle heat from the inside out.

REFORMER PILATES

The Pilates reformer is an amazing machine that helps you to find length and space in the body while under spring tension. Group classes on the reformer will not only help strengthen your core but also elongate your spine, joints and muscles, encouraging greater flexibility, strength and stamina.

Our studio space is welcoming and our teachers are all very conscious of making sure those new to Pilates experience a gentle introduction. Our teachers offer options for Pilates exercises to make sure every student is comfortable and can challenge themselves when they ready.

Our reformer beds offer a fun, versatile workout that can be modified to suit your body and abilities. It’s unique design improves a full range of motion of the muscles surrounding your arms, legs, trunk, and core.

YOGA FOUNDATIONS

Let’s start with building the foundations – how to move your body in a way that gives you stability, confidence and a solid base to not only support you but help create your own flow. Each week we will break down yoga asanas (postures), establish correct alignment and teach pranayama (breathing) techniques to connect with movement. They will benefit beginners and anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of yoga asanas.

200HR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Lauren Morey of Yoga Space

Each year, one of our Directors, Lauren Morey from Yoga Space, runs a 200HR yoga teacher training at Udara Studio in Hobart. The course is part time.

The 2024 Hobart course is open for bookings.

We adore hosting classes workshops for high school and college students. Our teachers are experienced at working with school groups, and We cater to all skills levels across heated yoga classes (32 degrees celsius), and non-heated yoga + mat Pilates classes (both ambient temperature).
